Hydro-Québec Jobs

As per section 5.3 of the Apatisiiwin Agreement (2002), temporary employment opportunities in the James Bay Region are offered to qualified Cree beneficiaries who meet the hiring requirements of Hydro-Québec.

The Niskamoon Corporation is given notice of anticipated employment positions within the territory where a thirty (30) day window of opportunity exists for priority hiring if you meet the requirements and conditions.

Usual hiring conditions for these temporary employment opportunities are composed of the following;

• Certified diploma in the concerned discipline
• Successful completion of Hydro-Québec's entry tests (personality and skills tests)
• Functional and/or fluency in the French language (successful completion of French Tests)
• Valid drivers' license
• Attestation of Cree status
• Medical exam
• Be able to take different types of air transportation
