The current activities of the Niskamoon Corporation have bee divided into three categories:

– Fisheries and Health

– Remedial Works

– Training and Employment

It is very important that there is communication between the Board of Directors and Coordinators on which types of projects should be developed and promoted.

The Board of Directors plans on implementing a number of measures which will assist local coordinators in identifying projects which have a higher rate of success. These include:

• reporting on fund balances;
• reporting on projects approved;
• geo-referenced online database that the coordinators will be able to access for planning and comparative purposes;
• internal memos;
• training and information sessions.
